A massive silent rally was organized in Ampati, Meghalaya on Thursday, demanding justice for the two minor girls who were gang-raped in southwest Garo Hills, Meghalaya on April 16.
The rally organized by the Meghalaya Koch Students’ Union began at the Ghasura Cultural Center and proceeded to the deputy commissioner’s office. At least 8,000 people participated in the rally.
