Breakout Games Charlotte Opens Sequel to Popular Escape Room | Sudcltheweekly

CHARLOTTE – Breakout Games has launched a sequel to its most popular escape experience, “The Kidnapping.”

“Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the Dark” challenges players to escape total darkness and an abandoned asylum before time runs out and their captor returns.

Participants will find themselves plunged into complete darkness from the start of the game. As the dim lights come on, they’ll discover a room adorned with padded walls, Rorschach posters and pill bottles. As time passes, players must work together to unravel the kidnapper’s twisted game and secure their freedom before it’s too late.

“We are thrilled to bring the sequel to our most popular escape room to our loyal fans,” said Bryce Anderson, co-founder of Breakout Games. “’Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the Dark’ offers a unique and exciting experience that will push our players to their limits. We can’t wait to see who can brave the darkness and emerge victorious.”

Breakout Games offers live entertainment at over 30 locations nationwide. Each escape room features several hour-long scenarios in which visitors must decipher codes, discover clues and solve puzzles to “escape” with family, friends and co-workers.

“Kidnapping 2 adds an extra layer of suspense and challenge to Breakout Games’ most played original room. Participants will need to rely on their intelligence, teamwork and problem-solving skills to outwit the kidnapper and escape an asylum-like environment.
