Mavs Land ‘Marfa’ inspired pop-up near Oklahoma border

GAINESVILLE, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks set up a pop-up along Interstate 35 near the Oklahoma border for a photo op so fans heading to Game 2 could enter a drawing for tickets to Game 4.

The Mavs said the pop-up installation, a billboard meant to resemble a small Mavs store, was located at Exit 500 on I-35N in Gainesville, Texas. Mavs fans who took a photo at “Mavs Land” and tagged “@dallasmavs” on their post using “#OneForDallas” would have a chance to win a pair of Mavs Game 4 tickets and gear.

Game 4 will take place on Monday, May 13 at the American Airlines Center.
