Caught on camera: three dead as bus falls into river in St. Petersburg, Russia

Three people died on Friday after a bus fell from a bridge into the Moika River in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, the TASS news agency cited local authorities as saying.

Six other people were hospitalized, TASS said, adding that the rescue operation had been completed.

Video released by authorities shows the bus swerving wildly before crashing into the bridge railings and being almost entirely submerged by water.

The RIA news agency said the driver of the bus, which was carrying around 20 passengers, was arrested.
