Community Corner: Mental Health Hook Up “Stop the Stigma” event connecting the community to mental health resources

Find out how to “Stop the Stigma” around mental illness with Mental Health Hook Up’s next event, aptly named “Stop the Stigma”; Barbara Wilson, executive director of the nonprofit organization, and Eden Braunstein, project manager for “Stop the Stigma” tell us more about what lies ahead.

“Stop the Stigma” will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Event organizers have a variety of speakers, resources, and more coming to the event, hoping to help community members access valuable resources to address their mental health needs.
