Log Cabin and Delaney House in Holyoke prepare to serve 2,000 guests

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Treating mom to a meal at her favorite place is a popular way to celebrate Mother’s Day for many, and local restaurants are gearing up to get back in business.

For The Log Cabin and Delaney’s House in Holyoke, that means preparing food from the past week. They hope to welcome nearly 2,000 people.

“It’s huge, it’s a huge weekend for us, we have prom season right now, wedding season right now, we obviously have Mother’s Day which is probably by far one of our biggest parties,” said Log Cabin, Delaney’s House. Chief, Paul Kestler.

And with a wide range of menu options, they’ll have a full complement to make this Mother’s Day one to remember.

“It’s the best, you have to honor your mother and there’s no better way to do it.”

The Delaney House is fully booked, but last minute reservations will still be accepted at the Log Cabin. Restaurants hope to double the amount of their sales compared to the same period last year.
