Two Massachusetts men arrested dealing drugs on I-80

TURBOT TOWNSHIP NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY — NorthcentralPA.com reports that a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Northumberland County led police to find more than 380 packages of marijuana, according to police.

Around 4:30 p.m. on April 24, Trp. Howard W. Young II, State Police, Milton, stopped a 2023 BMX X3 traveling west on I-80 in Turbot Township. Police found and seized approximately $35,000 in cash, six vacuum-sealed boxes containing 300 THC vape pens and 3 pounds of marijuana packaged in approximately 380 packages, according to a news release.

Police charged Oran A. Burton, 24, and Shemar N. Burton, 27, both of Brockton, Massachusetts, with counts of manufacturing, delivering or possessing a controlled substance with intent to surrender her and related charges. . Both men have posted $150,000 bond and are awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 3 at District Judge Michael Diehl’s office.
