Drivers are shocked after learning how to use their car slot correctly after ’38 years on earth’

Today, a viral video that taught millions about cars that some people didn’t know existed for years has resurfaced.

A TikTok user named Justin, who creates content under the name @milltj01, made a video sharing a discovery he made about his car’s gas cap.

Captioning the post, Justin wrote: “How did I not know? » as he is shown removing his car’s fuel cap in the clip as if he was about to fill it with gas.

Pointing to a slot on the fuel door, he then hangs the cap there, with a voiceover saying, “38 years on this earth and I’ve just learned this.” »

His video went viral, garnering millions of views and thousands of lines, as many viewers rushed to the comments to confess that they too were unaware, with one motorist responding: “51 years on this earth and I just learned about this. “

Another added: “I’ll be back in a second, I need to check something.”

His viral video caught the attention of another TikTok user who created his own video, and he headed out to his car to check if it was possible.

“No, I don’t have that,” he says, approaching the vehicle before exclaiming “Oh, my days,” realizing it also has a slot for his fuel cap.

He then went to try this on another car, and although there was no slot, the door had a small hook to hang the fuel cap on. He adds: “How could I not have known that? I usually just let it hang and move like that.”
