Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who recently made heads turn at this year’s MET Gala with her floral saree look made everyone swoon with her princess look. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Alia revealed that she takes inspiration from a number of cultural icons, including Taylor Swift, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and other stars. Alia Bhatt said she admires Kate Winslet for her incredible self-sufficiency and resilience. She admires Taylor Swift, who turns every experience into heartfelt music. Alia said she felt inspired by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who created her own course and took her journey globally when no one was thinking about it. She said that she even takes inspiration from Kareena Kapoor Khan who is iconic in every way, and Shreya Ghoshal whose voice elevates every word and beat given to her.

Alia said these women accept their journey easily. She was asked how she was preparing for the next few years in the industry. Alia said she continues to venture into new creative territories, aiming to engage with audiences on deeper levels. She also said she wanted to challenge herself and contribute more to her characters.

Alia made her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone and is all set to be seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra which will also feature Vedang Raina. The film will hit theaters on September 27, 2024. It also features Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
