Memphis police release video of carjacking caught on camera

Carjacking BP Gas Station 4101 Yale Road Report #2405024332ME MEMPHIS, TN – On Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:15 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking at 4101 Yale Road. Officers were advised the victim was about to get into his white 2019 Dodge Charger when four unknown suspects got out of a blue Kia Optima. They were armed with guns and carjacked him at gunpoint for his vehicle. One of the suspects got in the driver’s seat of the victim’s vehicle and drove away from the scene, followed by other suspects in a blue Kia Optima. Blue Kia Optima was reported stolen from Appling Farms Station on May 2, 2024 (2405020487ME). The victim’s vehicle was found at 2723 Watkins Road at the BP gas station. Suspect #1 was a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5’6″ to 5’9″, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. He was armed with a black handgun. Suspect #2 was a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5’6″ to 5’10”, wearing a black hoodie, blue surgical mask, black jeans, and multi-colored shoes. He was armed with two handguns. Suspect #3 was a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5’7″ to 5’10”, wearing a gray hoodie, blue surgical mask, and black jeans. He was armed with a black handgun. Suspect #4 was a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5’7″ to 5’10”, wearing a white t-shirt, brown mask, and black jeans. He was armed with a black handgun. No arrests have been made.
