Yadav joked that what was once a ‘dayan’ (witch) for the BJP, apparently became their ‘mehbooba’ (beloved) when the price of LPG cylinders crossed the Rs 1,200 mark.

He also accused the saffron party of pursuing politics of hatred and spreading discrimination in the name of Hindu-Muslims.

“The BJP called inflation ‘dayan’ when the LPG cylinder cost Rs 400 during the UPA regime. But, it became their ‘mehbooba’ when the cost of an LPG cylinder crossed Rs 1 200 rupees,” Yadav said, while addressing an election rally in Jharkhand. Chatra.

The former deputy chief minister of Bihar said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi only talks about Hindu-Muslim, mandir-masjid, Sanatan-Islam relations, but he remains silent on the biggest issues of the country such as rising prices, unemployment and poverty. »

He said the Prime Minister recently visited Chatra in Jharkhand but did not utter a single word on the development of the state or give a road map for its development in the next five years .

Accusing the BJP of misusing central agencies, Yadav said former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren was sent behind bars for conspiracy. “They (BJP) have also used ED and CBI against our family, but we will not be afraid of the agencies,” he said.

Seeking votes for Indian bloc Chatra Lok Sabha candidate KN Tripathy, he said if the opposition alliance was voted to power, one crore youths would be given jobs, price of LPG cylinders would be reduced to Rs 500 and 200 units of electricity would be free.

Yadav delivered his speech sitting on a chair while suffering from a back injury. “The doctor advised me to go to bed for at least three weeks. But I told the doctor that it is not my time, but it is time to send Modi-ji to bed,” did he declare.

Addressing another election rally in Hazaribag, Yadav said that the ongoing Lok Sabha polls are very important as it is the election that should save democracy and the constitution.

“Democracy and the constitution will be at stake if the BJP returns to power. The time has come to oust the Modi government from the Centre,” he said.

He claimed that no major industry was created during the tenure of the BJP government at the Centre. Instead of creating industries, the Modi government was busy selling off railways, airports, banks and public sector units, he added.

Yadav sought votes in favor of INDIA bloc candidate from Hazaribag Lok Sabha seat JP Patel, who recently left the BJP for the Congress.

The RJD leader also organized rallies for INDIA bloc candidates in Giridih and Koderma.
