Wynn Las Vegas poker room abandons Bravo for PokerAtlas

PokerNews recently caught up Wynn Director of Poker Operations Ryan Beauregard to talk about the decision to move to PokerAtlas.

PokerNews: When should Wynn Las Vegas launch PokerAtlas?

Ryan Beauregard: Wynn Las Vegas is officially live with PokerAtlas as of this morning, May 15th.

What led to the decision to make this change and how long has it been in the works?

I’ve been following the growth of PokerAtlas for years, alongside other industry leaders in Las Vegas and beyond. Encore Boston Harbor has used PokerAtlas since it opened in 2019, but we decided on behalf of Wynn Las Vegas last summer. A transition like this takes some time to implement, but we couldn’t be more excited to finalize this offering for our customers.

What things do you plan to change? What will PokerAtlas be able to offer your staff and players that they may not currently have?

The PokerAtlas app is a major benefit of this transition. Online cash game waitlist registration will replace the need to call, and all tournament schedules, structures and other information – including real-time chip counts and draws – will be easily accessible via the application.

Additionally, the tournament payment process will be faster and simpler for players, a definite advantage for large events like our Summer Classic or the annual WPT Championship.

Another exciting player benefit is the ability for poker players to earn COMPDOLLARS, which can be redeemed for various experiences throughout Wynn Las Vegas, including dining, lodging, spa services and golf. Each guest’s poker balance has been automatically transferred into COMPDOLLARS and is now available. For more information about COMPDOLLARS, please visit wynnlasvegas.com/wynn-rewards.

Is there anything players can do to prepare for PokerAtlas’ debut at Wynn Las Vegas?

Download the PokerAtlas app and create an account. Then it’s easy to add your name to the waitlist or view all current and upcoming tournament information about Wynn.

What does the future look like with PokerAtlas?

The PokerAtlas team has some exciting developments and features in the works. With our operational knowledge and shared desire to improve the player experience, I believe this partnership will fuel innovation and be a step forward for the poker industry.
