WBC world champion Fury can unify the heavyweight division by beating the undefeated Ukrainian, who holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles.

And Ibrahimovic, who won the Carabao Cup and Europa League during his time at Old Trafford, gave one final pep talk to Red Devils fan Fury before entering the lions’ den.

In a video shared by the 35-year-old on Instagram, Swedish football legend Ibrahimovic said: “Tyson Fury, what’s up.

“I hope you had a good preparation before camp. You look good, you look sharp.

“Enjoy the fight. I’m pretty sure you know what you need to do. And I’m pretty sure you’ll do what you’ve always done, make history.

“Be yourself. Go out there, dance and make us happy. But most importantly, do what you can do and that’s win.

“Go out there, have fun and make sure you win, as always. Make history and we’ll be watching.”

Captioning the clip, Fury said: “The lion Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken.

“We will arrive like kings and leave like legends. Thank you Ibra. History will be made at Ring Of Fire.”

Fury sports a sleek new look for the clash, but despite his slimmer frame, Usyk still gives up considerable size to the undefeated Mancunian.

Fury’s trainer SugarHill Steward says his fighter is fitter than ever and has predicted a further weight cut ahead of fight night.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s not even that he’s lighter, he’s just fitter. He hasn’t lost a lot of weight just to get lower.

“It’s just the weight that allows him to be stronger, more mobile, more agile and everything else.

“It takes work to get there and he’s at the point in his life where he wanted to get there. So that’s where we are.”
