Free ferry service offered to Georges Island in Boston on May 18 and 19

BOSTON – Free ferry service is available this weekend to Georges Island, thanks to the nonprofit Boston Harbor Now.

The service, formerly provided for one day, now extends over an entire weekend, May 18 and 19. This coincides with the start of the ferry season.

Tickets will be available from 8 a.m. on May 18 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Ferries depart Long Wharf North at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm on May 18. They left Long Wharf North at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on May 19.
