An Indiana police officer freed a goose from fishing line wrapped around its legs after what his department described as a “wild goose chase.” The officer was patrolling the area when he came across a goose with fishing line wrapped around its legs blocking traffic, Frankfurt police said. The officer “and a good Samaritan both worked together to catch the goose after a short foot chase,” police said. Bodycam footage released by the department shows the officer using a penknife to cut the goose’s line, while another person held it still.
