Gene Simmons salutes JoJo Siwa for her kiss-inspired red carpet look

Gene Simmons likes JoJo Siwa’s style.

The rock legend only praised the singer and dancer after she donned a heavily Kiss-influenced suit for Monday night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles.

At the event, the “Dance Moms” alum ditched her trademark bow and strutted down the red carpet wearing a black rhinestone bodysuit with sheer panels and dragon-shaped ruffles on the ‘shoulder.

Going even more metallic, Siwa painted black wings around her eyes and applied a matching charcoal shade to her lips.

While the former Nickelodeon star described the ensemble as her “pet peeve look” in an interview with E! News, there was no denying his resemblance to Simmons’ musical character The Demon.

Fully embracing the avant-garde ensemble while posing for photos, Siwa stuck out her tongue and brandished devil horns — the universal “rock on” gesture that the “Lick It Up” artist actually tried to score in 2017.

Although Siwa faced minor criticism that his look was a rip-off of Kiss, the band’s bassist/frontman was all for the “Dancing With the Stars” finalist’s fashion homage.

“JoJo is cool,” he told TMZ in an interview Wednesday. “Anyone who doesn’t understand is just jealous, period.”

Sharing some sage advice, the 74-year-old rocker said: “Never be ordinary, always be extraordinary. JoJo is amazing and she looks cool.

“Of course she looks like me, but that’s another story,” he teased.

At Monday’s awards ceremony, Siwa opened up about the backlash she’s facing for ditching the bright, bubbly style that brought her fame.

“People are afraid of things they don’t know,” she told E!. “Things can scare people. New things can be very, very scary.
