Indiana escapee arrested in DeFuniak Springs in custody

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) — An Indiana escapee was arrested Sunday afternoon in DeFuniak Springs.

According to a Facebook post, the DeFuniak Springs Police Department and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office were alerted of an individual wanted for escaping from Indiana and believed to be traveling in Walton County.

Authorities said they were able to locate the vehicle within city limits and conducted a traffic stop.

As a result, Raymond Morris, 42, was taken into custody.
