iGaming News | Tipbet cancels its MGA license

The Malta Gaming Authority has canceled the license issued to Tipbet and ordered the operator to suspend all gaming operations with “immediate effect”.

Tipbet must also refund all player monies and settle all outstanding fees owed to the MGA within five days of notification of cancellation.

The brand was also ordered to allow existing players access to their accounts for the purpose of requesting withdrawal of outstanding balances.

The MGA also said Tipbet must remove any reference to the regulator and its accreditation from its website and all branding.
