Speaking about what this could mean for Vicky’s future, she added: “Bringing in a family seems like a good investment in the future of the character, so I’m really happy.”

When asked about Andre’s history, Anya said: “We believe that Andre and Vicky’s father had relationships with two different women around the same time. Vicky’s mother has a short, one-off history, which ended with the arrival of Vicky Andre had a good relationship with his father, but he only knew about Vicky for a short time. He came to the village to find her.

And he’s looking for it. Andre will first meet Vicky at the youth club where he befriends her and Dillon who are unaware of his family connection to Vicky.

Things are about to get a little awkward when Vicky mistakes Andre’s friendly behavior and tries to “make a move” with her stepbrother.

Speaking about the moment he reveals his true identity to his sister, Anya said Vicky didn’t believe him because it was “a crazy thing to come out and tell someone”.

“After that, there’s a lot of anger and resentment, because André had this beautiful home life with a wonderful family,” she added. “She looks at this and sees the life she could have had, where she didn’t go through all this trauma.”
