Popular dog Kabosu, who inspired cryptocurrencies Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, has died

Shillong, May 24: Popular Japanese dog Kabosu, who became the face of cryptocurrencies DogeCoin and Shiba Inu, died at the age of 18 on Friday.

The dog was reportedly suffering from leukemia and liver disease.

Kabosu’s passing was also announced by Dogecoin in an article on The impact this dog has had across the world is immeasurable.

The dog’s owner revealed in a blog post that a “farewell party for Kabo-chan will be held on May 26.”

The disappearance of the internet’s favorite dog broke the hearts of netizens, as words of love and condolences poured in for Kabosu.
