GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – The time has come.

We’re just days away from baseball’s biggest tournament – ​​the Junior College World Series (yes, that’s right, I said it) – which begins at Suplizio Field.

We are hours.

Soon a few minutes.

First pitch: Saturday May 25, 9 a.m.

And this year’s field is more fascinating than ever.

Anyone – from 10-seeded Shelton State (which was one of three teams here this year that were in last year) to top-seeded Johnson County (which was also here last year) – can win this title.
