‘The Bachelorette’ Alumnus Ryan Sutter Addresses Fan Concerns After cryptic Post About His Wife Trista

The Bachelorette alum Ryan Sutter responded to fans’ concerns over a cryptic Instagram post.

Last Saturday, Sutter shared a black and white photo of himself with his wife and former Bachelorette Trista. He captioned it: “I really wish I could talk to you. I ask you how you are? How was your day. I would really like to hear your voice – just for a minute. So many times I called without much to say, not realizing how lucky I was or how much of an opportunity I would miss if it disappeared.

He added that as much as he wanted to be there for Trista, he couldn’t. “And that’s okay because I know you need this time, time to discover yourself again. So I’ll be there for you instead. I’ll be there when you come back. I’ll be there for you to listen, to smile with you, maybe to cry with you – I will be there to love you… I will be there… forever.

Many fans have speculated that the couple, who married in an ABC televised wedding in 2003 after Trista chose her current husband during her season of The Bachelorette, had separated. Others feared the worst, thinking Trista was dead.

In a new Instagram post, Sutter wrote: “21 years ago I was pretty famous. I don’t have millions of followers and I don’t influence anyone, but for some reason, from time to time, people still pay attention to it. Apparently this has been the case recently? »

He noted that he “stepped away from the safety of the usual dog theme” and posted a message to his wife “for a time when she could possibly read it.”

“She understood the context and so did I. No one else understood it though, and that’s where things got out of hand,” he continued. “It was suggested that Trista was dead, that we were in trouble, or that it must have been a mid-life crisis among many other creative ideas.”

He shared that after he wrote the post on social media, it was picked up by entertainment media and he “started getting texts from friends asking if I was okay.” All because I missed my wife and I chose to share how that felt.

Sutter concluded his post by saying that after the widespread attention he received following this incident, he thinks he will “go back to posting about my dog a little bit.”

This is Sutter’s second clarifying message following the buzz surrounding his cryptic comments. Shortly after his first post, he assured fans on Instagram that “Trista is fine. We are well. Were good.”

He added: “Trista is at a point in her life where she’s searching a little bit. An opportunity presented itself that could help him in this quest. With the support of her family, she succeeded. Part of this process means that it is temporarily inaccessible to us. I miss her. We miss her.

This response sparked more questions about Trista’s well-being that have yet to be answered.
