Ground stop made at Nashville Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Federal Aviation Administration authorized a ground stop at Nashville International Airport Friday morning.

The ground shutdown was issued due to a loss of communication at the Memphis Air Traffic Control Center (ZME).

It could be lifted by 11:15 a.m., according to the FAA’s National Airspace System Status page.
