Emmerdale fans spot huge ‘mistake’ as Belle finally escapes abusive husband Tom King

Emmerdale viewers appeared to have spotted another mistake on the ITV soap after Belle King was taken away by the mental health crisis team.

Over the past few months, Belle has suffered at the hands of her husband Tom, who has shown signs of abusive and coercive behavior. On Friday night’s show (May 24), Tom convinced Belle that she hadn’t taken her medication that helped with her mental health, while declaring that Belle was “confused.”

Concerned about his recent erratic behavior towards Tom, Belle called her crisis team for help on Friday (May 24). While Tom tried his best to persuade Belle by telling her that she didn’t need any further help, much to Tom’s dismay, the crisis team as well as Belle’s family members, Cain, Lydia and Sam, showed up at their door.

But while fans were thrilled to see Belle receive help and then be taken away, many were also stunned that the Crisis Team was able to care for Belle so soon. As many have pointed out, it often takes a little longer after a call is made.
