Traffic stop leads to pursuit

Madera Police Officer Salvador Zaragoza takes Richard Morales into custody after Morales led Zaragosa on a chase after a traffic stop.

Madera Police Officer Salvador Zaragoza monitored traffic on N. Lake Street and E. Lincoln Avenue Monday afternoon.

Officer Zaragoza observed a Chevrolet pickup truck drive through the intersection at approximately 25 mph, without stopping for the posted stop sign.

Zaragoza attempted to conduct a traffic stop with the driver, later identified as Richard Morales.
