Two people accused of smuggling drugs out of Route 1 motel room

HOWARD COUNTY, MD—Two men were arrested on gun and drug charges after they were found distributing suspected crack cocaine from a motel room on Route 1, according to Howard County police.

Marcus Michael Whitehead, 24, of no fixed address, and Donald Anthony Harris, 41, of Glen Burnie, face various charges. Detectives investigating the case also discovered that Whitehead had an out-of-state homicide warrant.

Both individuals are currently being held without bail. These arrests highlight ongoing efforts by local authorities to combat drug distribution and associated criminal activity in the area.
