Old World Meats Are Ready for Memorial Day Weekend

DULUTH, Minn. — Memorial Day weekend can mean a lot of things, but for a Duluth butcher shop, it’s the start of the year.

Old World Meats is fully prepared to welcome customers to make their weekend filled with delicious food. The owner says that after many years in business, he knows what people want: brats, burgers and steaks. Popular items are Blueberry Wild Rice Kids and Sauerkraut Kids. Their Polish sausage is also grandfather’s original recipe.

They see customers from in and out of town. The butcher shop looks forward to these busy weekends.

“And these are the lawns, the barbecues. This motivation of people in a good mood, they go to the lake, they have things to do. It’s kind of like when you get a little older you end up hibernating and then in the spring we all come out and some of the faces I haven’t seen you know since the fall,” Paul said Wrazidlo, owner of Old World Meats. .

Old World Meats will be temporarily closed after July 4 to make much-needed repairs to the roof. Stop by first as they may be closed for up to 5 weeks.
