The Dolgeville Community Band announces the start of the season

The Dolgeville Community Band is excited to announce the start of our 2024 summer season.

The concerts will take place on July 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Plowe Park. You can also find the band playing June 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Plowe Park for the Dolgeville Violet Festival as well as August 3 (time TBD) at the New Hartford Village Green for the 5th annual New Hartford Band Festival.

The Dolgeville Community Band plays a wide variety of music. Attending a concert, you could hear patriotic marches, film music, classic rock tunes and beautiful ballads all in one night. With more than a hundred songs in its repertoire, the Dolgeville Community Band continues
to arouse the interests of all spectators.

The Dolgeville Community Band is led by conductor Katlin Wolford, who is also the jr. high school and high school band director for the Dolgeville Central School District.

Members of the group include a number of Dolgeville students and teachers, current and retired local music teachers, and dedicated musicians from throughout the community. If you are interested in joining us this season or next, please contact [email protected] for more information.
