Meeting highlights initiatives proposed by the Digital Cooperation Organization to member states and observers

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, chaired the 1st meeting of the Observers Committee of the Digital Cooperation Organization.

The meeting highlighted the initiatives proposed by the organization to member states and observers.

Areas covered by these initiatives include foreign direct investment (FDI), public-private sector partnerships, sustainability and innovation in government e-service delivery and initiatives to develop the system of Digital Economy.

Oman was represented at the meeting, which is being held within the framework of Comex 2024 activities, by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology for Communications and information technologies.
