UC Santa Barbara Announces 2024 Golden Eagle Award Recipients

SANTA BARBARA, California – On Tuesday, May 28, the UC Santa Barbara Athletics Department hosted its annual Golden Eagle Awards Banquet, celebrating the academic achievements of 20 stellar gaucho student-athletes.

The Golden Eagle honors the student-athlete from each program who has the highest cumulative GPA (3.25 minimum) and who consistently demonstrates citizenship and integrity. The recipient must be in their second year of enrollment at UC Santa Barbara or beyond.

The annual event is made possible by the generous support of longtime civic leaders and Gaucho donors Peter and Gerd Jordano (Pacific Beverage). See the full list of winners below.
