1 injured in crash near I-77 rest area

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) — An injury has been confirmed after a vehicle crash on I-77 Tuesday evening.

According to Metro 911, the two-vehicle crash was reported at Mile 69 near the Whittaker Rest Area around 9:35 p.m. No lane closures were reported and the road has since been cleared.

Responders from State Police, Kanawha Ambulance and Pratt Volunteer Fire Department were on scene.
