iMessage and message list | MacRumors Forums

I’ve been experiencing this issue for a long time, even on my previous iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Here in Brazil we don’t use iMessage much. The majority of use here is with WhatsApp.

But with my friends and relatives, I usually exchange messages via iMessage.

With my wife, I exchange messages only via iMessage. So when I go into the app, instead of always being in my wife’s message, it automatically goes back to the message list. I think this might happen due to excessive RAM usage and the OS closes the iMessage app to free up RAM space, but this happens shortly after changing d application or played with social networks, for example. When I go back to iMessage, it opens to my wife’s message, but it soon automatically goes back to the messages list, which I don’t want to happen.
