Shay emphasized that the risk of cancellation put a lot of stress on her and Lala Kent to produce high-quality content, not only for themselves but also for the 80 to 100 crew members. “And I said that in the meeting – which you didn’t see – but I was like, ‘I feel like we’re doing our job for all these people as well. We want this to continue. She shared a deep wish to continue the show, feeling a duty to everyone involved.

Scheana Shay criticizes Ariana Madix

The eleventh season of Vanderpump Rules turned into a disaster. The infamous “Scandoval” incident, in which Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana Madix with her best friend Raquel Leviss, took the entire series by storm. The drama intensified when Ariana chose to leave a group event during the season finale, refusing to film with Sandoval. The move frustrated Scheana Shay, who felt Ariana’s actions didn’t take into account the show’s impact on the entire cast.

“And so when someone leaves, they don’t care if the show ends, it’s not just about us,” Shay commented. “There are so many more people relying on that, and that’s where it got really difficult because I’m like, I understand and respect your boundaries, but that made it really difficult.”

Vanderpump Reigns Season 11 Reunion

The reveal follows the explosive reunion that took place on May 28, which left series OG Ariana Madix in tears. The unexpected real-time broadcast was the producer’s decision, with the final minutes of the finale deliberately held back to allow the cast to witness the dramatic scene in San Francisco. The reunion ended with “brutal” beatings and vows to “never face each other” on the show, after Lala Kent and Tom Sandoval made back-to-back claims against Madix, accusing him of failing to fulfill his responsibilities.
