Watch Jaylen Waddle Send Special Message to Dolphins Fans After Signing New Deal

One of the biggest news stories in the NFL recently was that the Miami Dolphins finally got things going, with star Jaylen Waddle. The fourth-year forward officially put pen to paper on a three-year extension worth $84.75 million.

Waddle’s new deal will also net him $76 million in guaranteed money, which of course will have him grinning from ear to ear. Shortly after Miami announced the extension, the team released a video of a very happy Waddle sending a special message to the fan base. You already know he loves this moment:

“Phins Nation, Jaylen Waddle here, just put pen to paper. We locked in, man. A few more years – keep some memories as the years go by, hope we can keep it going. Phins up. Phins for the win “

This reaction is great to see from Waddle, because it took him a long time. After DeVonta Smith and Nico Collins signed their contracts, it only put more pressure on Chris Grier to do something with his stud. Luckily, Miami doesn’t have to worry about that anymore.

However, the Waddle upgrade won’t be the final piece of contract for the Dolphins this offseason, as Tua Tagovailoa, Jevon Holland and others hope to get reworked contracts. Even Tyreek Hill wants a small pay raise after being downright unreal with the ball in his hands in 2023.

We can worry about all that later. Now people can just sit back and know that Waddle will continue to be a standout for this offense, as he finished with at least 1,000 yards in his first three seasons. This fall and winter he will look to make it four years in a row and he will do it as a rich man.
