Taylor Swift will come to Liverpool for three nights in June

A Taylor Swift urban route has been mapped out in anticipation of the arrival of one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.

Liverpool countdown to transformation as Town of Taylor ahead of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour arriving at Anfield Stadium from June 13-15.

Locations of 11 art installations which will make up the Taylor Town Trail have now been published.

They include a 7ft (2m) butterfly, a small moss-covered grand piano, two murals, a flower swing and a red room, and will go live on June 8.

The American pop phenomenon will play a hat-trick of sold-out shows at Liverpool FC Stadium – the first being his 100th date on The Eras Tour.

The trail, organized by Liverpool City Council’s Culture Liverpool team, creative social enterprise Make CIC and other artists, is inspired by Swift’s catalog of hits and will run until June 16.

Alongside the trail, a series of paid craft workshops – called Liverpool Loves Taylor (Craft Version) – will also take place at Metquartier in Liverpool.

Facilities include:

  • Design Laser Play’s first artwork, including a butterfly installation, inspired by Swift’s debut album, at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock
  • Fearless era artwork by Molly Mural, featuring a colorful mural inspired by the Fearless album, in New Bird Street
  • Mulberry Workshop and Quirky Design Co’s Speak Now era artwork, featuring lilac colors inspired by the Speak Now album, at Liverpool’s Metquartier, 8am – 10pm BST
  • Red era artwork by Anna Mulhearn and Mulberry Workshop, featuring giant red lips forming the backdrop to a Taylor-themed Red Room inspired by the Red album, at Liverpool’s Metquartier from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. .

Liverpool prepare for Taylor Swift’s visit for The Eras Tour

  • 1989-era artwork by Xyleia, Hannah Ng, Quirky Design Co and Submarine Studios, featuring cloud designs inspired by Swift’s 1989 album, at the Mann Island Atrium from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Reputation era artwork from Submarine Studios, Xyleia and Mulberry Workshop, featuring a serpentine-style throne to celebrate Swift’s sixth studio album, Reputation, at Liverpool One from 8am to 10pm.
  • Lover era artwork by Buy By Bethan and Quirky Design Co, featuring candy canes and flamingos inspired by the Lover album, at the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool
  • Artwork from the folk era, by Quirky Design Co, featuring a replica of the iconic moss-covered grand piano that is part of The Cardigan music video, at the Bluecoat Garden Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Artwork from the Evermore era, created by Local Florist, featuring a floral swing, inspired by themes from the Evermore album, at Liverpool One from 8am to 10pm.
  • Illustration from the Midnights era, by Xyleia, Mulberry Workshop and Quirky Design Co, featuring a selfie seat inspired by the Midnights album, at Lime Street Station Monday to Saturday 4:30 a.m. to midnight and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to midnight.
  • The Department of Tortured Poets’ period work, by Catherine Rogers, features a giant black and white mural at Liverpool One from 8am to 10pm.

A Liverpool Loves Taylor information stand will be operating at Liverpool Lime Street station from 13-15 June from 9am.
