Koe Wetzel Reportedly Opening Riot Room Bar in Nashville

The third location of Koe Wetzel Riot Room has been spotted.

Although the bar has yet to officially announce its expansion to Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee, The Nashville Business Journal reported that Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room will occupy the former Dogwood location in Midtown.

Dogwood permanently closed its doors on May 1 after first opening them in 2019. When Dogwood closed, Riot Room partners (Emil Bragdon, president and CEO of Texas-based Funky Lime Hospitality, and Fort Worth hotel veteran Fred Barnett purchased the property.

Details about the bar have not yet been released, but it will surely follow the Fort Worth And soon to open Houston Locations.

“It’s about who Koe is and what he stands for. He has a happy-go-lucky party attitude, that whole personality that’s so contagious.

He’s a real Texas guy, a good ol’ country boy, hospitable and fun-loving – that’s the place.

Bragdon noted in an interview with CultureMap Houston.

Wetzel is getting away from the hustle and bustle of artists flooding Broadway by opting for the Midtown location. While he’s not the first artist to move away from the bustling downtown bar scene, he’s entering a less saturated market.

If the expansion rings true, Koe will open bars in every city where he likes to party. While everyone loves Riot Room, Koe is creating a clubbing experience for himself. Elite movement.
