Shocking footage shows an alleged brawl between Manchester United and Manchester City fans in north London ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Scenes appeared to show a fight in Harrow’s Station Road shortly before midday on Saturday.

In the clip, one man could be seen on the ground while others piled on top of him as the men confronted each other.

Several of the participants in the alleged fight could be seen wearing football jerseys. The incident took place on a busy street in Harrow, outside a branch of Barclay’s bank, and also appeared to disrupt traffic.

“United, United” chants can be heard in the background during the brawl.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed police were investigating, saying: “Police were called at around 11.50am on Saturday May 25 to reports of a fight in Station Road, Harrow.

“The police were present but the people involved had left the scene. No reports of serious injuries.

“Investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.”

Manchester United won the highly anticipated match at Wembley, with a 2-1 victory over rivals Manchester City on Saturday.
