Who Kentucky offered after the first two days of June camps

The Kentucky football camp season has officially begun. Over the first two weeks of June, the Wildcats will host a total of seven camps, June 2-12.

So far, Kentucky has hosted the Sunday Showcase Camp (June 2) and the first of four Wildcat One Day Camps (June 3). By our count, a total of 12 high school prospects left camp with Wildcats offers in hand – half of them coming from Bluegrass State. Others will surely come after the end of the camp season, in a little over a week.

Who have the Wildcats offered over the first two days of camp? Let’s find out below, but first, here’s a quick note for our sponsor.

Noah King (’25 ATH) 6-2, 195 | Hamilton (Cincinnati, Ohio) -> KSR Maintenance

  • Noah King came to visit camp Sunday with offers from West Virginia and Oregon State, as well as those from several mid-major schools. The defensive back’s performance in front of Kentucky’s coaches would be significant. King did enough to earn a scholarship from Vince Marrow and quickly secured an official visit on June 18. If Kentucky ultimately wants to keep its commitment, it’s the Wildcats to lose. 247Sports and Rivals rank him as a three-star recruit.

Paul McClure (’25 LO) 6-2, 275 | Boyle County (Danville, Kentucky)

  • Paul McClure landed a preferred scholarship after his impressive performance at Sunday’s camp. The Boyle County product is one of six Bluegrass prospects to receive an offer through the first two days of camp. Also a wrestler for the Rebels, McClure is one of five players in Boyle County history to join the “1,100 lb Elite Club” (lifting a total of 1,110 pounds on the bench, squat and power clean ), which also includes Kentucky redshirt freshman DL. Tommy Ziesmer.

Owen Winder (’26 overtime) 6-7, 290 | Dexter (Dexter, Michigan) -> KSR+ Maintenance

  • Owen Winder received an offer after camp on Monday from offensive line coach Eric Wolford. Duke also offered, as did many middle schools. Michigan State and BYU are in the mix. Expect Winder to be a target for Wolford in the future. 247Sports ranks him as a three-star recruit.

Evan Hampton (’26 RB) 6-0, 200 | Owensboro (Owensboro, Kentucky) -> KSR distribution

  • Evan Hampton is a name that die-hard Kentucky baseball fans already know. He joined Nick Mingione’s program last year. But on Monday, Marrow offered him a scholarship to play football. Hampton posted that he ran a 4.42 40-yard dash at the laser in the UK. He rushed for over 1,500 yards as a sophomore for Owensboro in 2023. Could he become a dual-sport athlete for the Wildcats?

Lucas Tielsch (’26 overtime) 6-7, 295 | Copley (Copley, Ohio)

  • Lucas Tielsch has seen his stock rise since the start of the new year. He received offers from Louisville, Ball State, Bowling Green, Western Michigan and Buffalo. After Sunday’s camp, Wolford made him an offer. Tielsch was an all-district selection in 2023 and also competes in the shot put and discus for the track and field team. 247Sports ranks him as a three-star recruit.

Jordan Holman (’27 ATH) 6-2 195 | Woodford County (Versailles, Kentucky)

  • Jordan Holman is another local recruit and his offer came from Marrow after Sunday’s camp. The Woodford County product was also in attendance at one of UK’s spring practices in early April. Holman began his high school career at Trinity in Louisville, but will play for the Yellow Jackets as a sophomore.

Maximum hunting (’27 TE) 6-6, 195 | Holy Cross (Covington, Kentucky)

  • Max Hunt is only a sophomore, but he’s already 6-foot-6. The Holy Cross (Covington) product received his first Division I offer from Kentucky via Marrow after camp on Monday. Primarily a basketball player, Hunt stood out to Marrow at camp and that eventually led to an offer. If he can add some extra muscle over the next couple of years, he will be a prospect to watch. Hunt is hosting other camp visits to other schools this month.

Jacob Brule (’27 LO) 6-7, 295 | Tabor Academy (Marion, MA)

  • Jacob Burns is one of two Tabor Academy (MA) prospects who camped Monday and left Lexington with offers. Burns entered camp with scholarship opportunities from the likes of Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, NC State, Maryland and a few others. Wolford extended the offer to him. Burns is another rookie to keep a close eye on moving forward.

Trae Taylor (’27 QB) 6-2, 180 | Catholic Carmel (Mundelein, Illinois) -> KSR Maintenance

  • Trae Taylor was arguably the most talented camper of the first two days. He ultimately accepted an offer from Kentucky after Monday’s camp through new offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan. Michigan, Maryland, Miami (FL), Colorado, Illinois, Purdue, NC State and several mid-tier schools also offered. Taylor traveled to UK earlier in the spring for training and plans to return this fall for an unofficial visit. Don’t be surprised if the Illinois sophomore is a nationally ranked recruit by this time next year.

Pierre Bourque (’27 QB) 6-4, 195 | Tabor Academy (Hingham, MA)

  • Peter Bourque joins Taylor as two offered quarterbacks for the first two days of camp. Also a candidate at Tabor Academy in Massachusetts, he holds additional offers from the likes of Maryland, Syracuse, Toldeo and Rhode Island. Hamdan also extended this offer on Monday.

Spencer Clükey (’27 TE/DE) 6-4, 230 | Covington Catholic (Covington, Kentucky)

  • Spencer Clukey received his first Division I offer after Monday’s camp, which came from Marrow. Split time at tight end And defensive end from Covington Catholic, we can quickly draw comparisons to current Kentucky freshman TE Willie Rodriguezwho fulfilled a similar role for the Colonels during his time at Cov Cath.

Thomas Sizemore (’28 RB/LB) 6-0, 185 | Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, Kentucky)

  • Thomas Sizemore is the only 2028 prospect (high school freshman) to receive an offer after the first two days of camp. There is some familiarity with him coming from Lexington Christian Academy, the same school as Kentucky freshman QB. Boley Cutter assisted. ACL head coach Doug Charles says Sizemore “has as good a freshman body as we’ve seen at ACL.”
