BLACKPINK Rosé’s Hair Is So Iconic, It Inspired Her ‘I-Land 2’ Lookalike to Become an Idol

When you think of BLACK ROSEIt is Pink, several things probably come to mind, including talent and beauty. One of the idol’s physical features that she is also known for is her eternally long blonde hair.

Although she has changed her style over the years, blonde hair is what most people are familiar with.

Unexpectedly, the idol’s long braids turned out to be more iconic than expected, inspiring a trainee to become an idol!

The survival show I-Land 2, began airing in late April and featured 24 contestants competing to debut in a new girl group under WakeOne Entertainment.

The series is halfway through, with half of the contestants having been eliminated before the second part of the show and the fate of several of them remaining to be discovered in the second part. One of them in this last category is the candidate Yoon Jiyoon.

Yoo Jiyoon climbed the rankings as the series progressed, ending up in the ground in episode four, only to be ranked first in the following episode. Visually, her resemblance to Rosé is obvious, with Jiyoon having a similar nose and face shape, full cheeks, and round eyes.

With this resemblance, it’s a bit ironic that Jiyoon was inspired to become an idol by Rosé’s hair!

In an interview clip from the latest episode, Jiyoon shares how her singing aspirations began, saying that while watching BLACKPINK’s videos, she was struck by Rosé’s gorgeous hair, saying “it was the first beginning of my dreams.
