Fire at Fond du Lac high school investigated as ‘suspicious’, reward offered for information

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) – A fire that broke out Wednesday in the concession stand restroom at Fond du Lac High School is being called suspicious by investigators.

The Town of Fond du Lac Police Department and the Town of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue are investigating the fire that occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The Fond du Lac Police Department is asking anyone who may have information about this fire to contact Detective Lee Mikulec at (920) 322-3726 | [email protected] or the Crime Alert line at (920) 322-3740, callers can ask to remain anonymous.

In addition, a reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to the arrest of one or more suspects. The Wisconsin Arson Tipline can be reached at 1-800-362-3005 and callers can remain anonymous.

The investigation into this incident is in the preliminary stages and remains under active investigation by the Fond du Lac City Police Department and Fire Department. No further information is being released at this time.
