Do you have a beautiful yard? Consider participating in the District 1 Summer Landscaping Challenge

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Council Member Devyn Keith invites District 1 residents to participate in the third annual A Cut Above Summer landscaping challenge.

District 1 residents can nominate their own or someone else’s yard to enter the contest. Three sites will be recognized for the following prizes: best landscaping, most captivating floral display and best curb appeal.

Applications are open and will close on July 31.

“The real winners are all from District 1,” Keith said. “As everyone works to make their yards look their best, it will be a pleasure for visitors and residents to enjoy all the beautiful yards and make our city even more spectacular.”

You can make your submission here. Winners will take home prizes and a free sign stating their title.

Winners selected by a committee of city leaders will be contacted in mid-August and the Huntsville City Council will recognize each owner at a public meeting later in the month.
