Northern California Waste Collection Company Caught Illegally Dumping Waste

(FOX40.COM) – A company’s trash collection truck in Northern California was cited after someone reported it for dumping debris on private property, according to the County Sheriff’s Office. San Joaquín.

On June 9, SJSO said a resident witnessed a moving truck illegally dumping debris on his private property near East Highway 26 and North Murray Road in San Joaquin County without permission . Officers responded to the scene and reportedly obtained information about the suspects from a photo taken by the witness that read “Dusty D’s Junk Removal” on the side of the truck.

SCSO said they found the owner of the truck and he admitted to throwing out the trash. Deputies cited him for illegal dumping of waste.

Illegal dumping of waste is a growing problem and serious safety hazard throughout San Joaquin County, deputies said. They encouraged people to report illegal dumping to the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 209-468-4400.
