Luis Diaz breaks silence on Liverpool transfer as Barcelona and PSG rumors continue

Luis Diaz has declared himself “very happy” at Liverpool and insists he is not distracted by transfer rumors surrounding his departure this summer.

Diaz’s future has been the subject of increasing speculation this year, having become a target for both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.




PSG are in the market for a left winger following Kylian Mbappe’s departure for Real Madrid, while Barcelona’s financial situation means they are expected to sell players before making a bid for the Colombia international.

Liverpool, who paid £50m to sign Diaz from Porto in January 2022, value the winger at around £75m but have yet to show any indication of wanting to part ways with the 27-year-old.

And while he hasn’t completely dismissed rumors of a possible departure, Diaz did speak out after Colombia’s 5-1 win in the United States over the weekend to highlight his satisfaction with life at Anfield.

“I’m very happy there at Liverpool, it’s a great team and a great club,” he told Gol Caracol. “I always wanted to play there, so I’m very happy and calm.
