According to the Dean of Student Affairs, TF Hall did not receive approval from school authorities to host Shatta Wale’s Reunion Rave event. They requested permission to organize a karaoke evening, not an artist evening, for which the school authorities were not prepared.

She says:

“It is not true that TF has obtained approval for the artists’ evening. Normally, if an event is to be held in a venue, an approval request is sent to my office with an outline of the program. What They said I’m going to do a karaoke night, not an artists’ night. As far as I’m concerned, there’s a difference between the two. When you’re having an artists’ night, it has a lot of implications: security and other things we have to ensure that there is enough security and that’s why you need approval. There is still a ban on student gatherings, so you can’t. to raise and bring in an artiste like Shatta Wale without proper and necessary arrangements.

She says:

“Limann sent a letter requesting approval of their programs including the artists’ night and I forwarded it to the PRO VC due to the ban on public gatherings and the final approval came from him. I didn’t know not even who was on the poster to perform until I saw their flyers so I called the president of the venue and his managers to ensure security. Their letter was to be addressed to the. Legon Police District Command and University Security, and I requested them to provide additional security.

@Black_Zeusss commented:

“When I said that, Shatta fans kept insulting me. Tf executives didn’t send the right plan to the dean. Karaoke night is different from artists’ night. Blame the executives from the room and leave Stone out of it. Shatta is trying to tarnish Stone’s name so bad.
