International Gaming Day at City Hall is Tuesday!

Let’s play!

On Tuesday, Mayor Michelle Wu and the Office of Early Childhood will host the first International Day of Play on City Hall Square, a free, public, family-friendly event. The Mayor will visit various play activities organized by 29 community organizations and participate in a press briefing after the tour.

The LEGO Group will participate in the event, having plays a leading role in the 20-member coalition that advocated for the designation by the United Nations General Assembly of June 11 as the International Day of Playfrom 2024.

THE day will celebrate the importance of play in children’s lives, learning and development, as well as the need to protect and support children’s right to play.
