Paruvu Star Nagababu Reveals He Was Shocked When He Was Offered This Character

Nagababu plays a negative role in Zee 5’s Paruvu. The series is scheduled to air on June 14, 2024.

Paruvu is the latest Telugu web series which has grabbed everyone’s attention ever since its trailer was released by the makers. Naresh Agastya and Nivetha Pethuraj play the main lead roles in this serial, in which popular actor and politician Nagababu plays a negative role.

Nagababu opens up on Paruvu

Speaking about his role, Nagababu says he was pleasantly surprised when he was offered the role in the first place. When asked to define the caste system in India, Nagababu replied that one cannot help but think that the caste system plays a key role in politics, employment, education and business. “We cannot stay away even if we know that we are first and foremost Indians,” Nagababu says.

Nagababu will be seen as a village head in Paruvu, and his character as a wise politician is quite prominent in the series. Nagababu is busy with his political career and has supported his brother Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena party, which won the AP elections in a landslide.

Paruvu Release Date Details

Additionally, Nagababu will be seen articulating controversial dialogues and talking about the same; he says this series is based on honor killings and shows that people in small towns and other parts of India can do anything in their power to marry off their children against their choice.

Siddharth Naidu and Rajasekhar are jointly directing this series, of which Pawan Sadineni is the showrunner. Paruvu will be broadcast on Zee 5 from June 14, 2024. On this very special date, another Telugu web series, Yakshini, will also be broadcast on Hotstar. The series was directed by Teja Marini and stars Lakshmi Manchu, Vedhika, Ajay and Rahul Vijay in pivotal roles.

For now, Paruvu has captured everyone’s imagination as actors like Praneetha Patnaik will also be seen in a negative role. The series is based on a couple who are being sued by their parents for marrying against their wishes and also committing a horrible crime.
