Fugitive caught flying out of Nashville airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 35-year-old wanted woman from Colorado was arrested Monday before boarding a flight from Nashville International Airport.

According to court documents, officers were notified that a woman identified as Katherine Craner was possibly leaving BNA on an American Airlines flight.


Craner was wanted on two nationwide extradition drug warrants out of Jefferson County, Colorado.

An officer intercepted Craner as she attempted to board the flight at Gate C16 and identified her by her driver’s license and passport, according to an arrest warrant. Craner’s final destination was Europe.

Craner was booked into Metro Jail and charged with being a fugitive from justice. His bail was set at $250,000.
