According to Larry’s profile on The New 1017 website, she began her music career after graduating from high school in Fort Worth, Texas.

“I had to get comfortable with my voice,” Larry explained. “Staying in the studio and recording constantly, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”

The rapper defined her musical style as “Trap-n-Blues” and said she uses music as a vehicle for expression for herself and her fans.

She added: “Others can understand what I say. I can help someone in any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.”

Larry was featured on Gucci Mane’s 2020 mixtape “So Icy Summer” and in 2023 she was profiled by the Dallas Observer. She told the publication that she had always loved music and detailed her beginnings in music in the church choir.

“I feel like music was always something that came easily to me. I always felt like I was musically inclined. It was something that I thought you probably had to dedicate yourself to more time and effort, because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent,” she said.

It was around this time that Larry was collaborating with producer J White, who has previously worked with Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and Gucci Mane.
