CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Happy Wednesday evening Heartland. We witnessed another fantastic day with plenty of sunshine and seasonally warm temperatures throughout the region. For this evening we will see mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures. Readings will fall into the 70s. Morning lows will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. For our Thursday we will see mostly sunny and very warm conditions. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.

Heat will continue to build up in the region towards the weekend. High temperatures will likely reach the lower to mid 90s with the heat index approaching 100 degrees.
