Fans are shocked to see how much Barack and Michelle Obama’s youngest daughter Sasha has grown after her mother shared a new photo of the 23-year-old.

America has watched Obama’s daughters grow up before its eyes, and now it’s time to accept the fact that the youngest, former first daughter, is a grown woman. Fans of Barack and Michelle Obama were recently stunned to see a new photo of Sasha Obama, who celebrated her 23rd birthday earlier this week.

But a new photo of Malia’s younger sister has people scratching their heads and wondering, “Where did the time go?” »

When Barack Obama took office as the 44th President of the United States in January 2009, he came to the White House with his wife and two young daughters. Malia and Sasha were only 10 and 7 years old respectively.

By the time Obama finished his presidency in 2017, his daughters were now 18 and 15 years old. However, to much of the world, Sasha still looked like a little girl when the first black presidential family left the White House.

Now, after her mother shared a photo from her last birthday on June 10, it’s fair to say that Sasha has grown into a beautiful young woman. Both parents took to Instagram to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.

The former president posted a nostalgic photo of his youngest daughter, the endearing child many remember. The caption of her post read: “Happy birthday, Sasha! It’s been such a joy to watch you carve your own path in the world…and you’re just getting started! »

In contrast, Michelle celebrated with a contemporary photo, showcasing the USC graduate in a polished look, complete with her battered face, coiffed hair and all graceful, feminine everything.

The caption of her read message had a similar tone: “Happy birthday, Sasha! You make me incredibly proud. I hope this year brings you everything you want and more. I love you.”

What was different was the response from Michelle’s 57.2 million followers.

One Instagram user said: “Wow! The little girl has grown into a beautiful young woman. Not surprised. The Obamas are a beautiful family.

“Awwwwww. I will always remember the little girl with missing teeth who asked… Dad, where are you? So cute! Happy birthday,” one person wrote, while someone else commented: “No way this is our “little sister” Sasha… so grown up and beautiful! Happy birthday Sasha and happy birthday Aunt Michelle.

Another wrote: “Happy birthday Sasha! She grew up. I didn’t realize it was her until I read the comments! Simply magnificent!”

Someone else commented: “Sasha is a marvel and I wish you a big happy birthday young lady.”

Growing up in the spotlight hasn’t always been easy for Sasha, with cameras harassing her for doing basic things.

At one point, when Sasha and her sister Malia went to the after-party for Drake’s “It Was All a Blur” concert in West Hollywood last August, fans were shocked that she was in a adult club where they served alcohol and people danced to the beat. in the early hours of the morning.
